Printing and Signage Production

We’re proud to say we run a full print production and finishing centre here in Ballymount, Dublin 24. We also have a full signage production facility on site. We will only use third party contractors when a job is beyond our capability i.e. depending on volume or size, or intricate finish.
Absolutely! We’d be happy to quote you for anything print, design or signage. The more unusual the request makes no difference to our promise to get you a competitive and realistic price.
Yes we do. We have a team of very experienced sign fitters who will take maximum care in ensuring your signage is placed exactly as you require.

Pricing/Quotes

Of course. We are happy to offer FREE, no-obligation quotes for any of your print or signage requirements.
Yes, we have to charge VAT at 23%. There are exceptions to this rate. See revenue.ie for the full current list.
We will honour all quotes for 6 months after issuing and never change a price once the process has begun.
We regularly complete tender documents and detailed pricing schedules. We do not charge for this.

Artwork

Yes, we are happy to accept print-ready artwork. If you have print-ready artwork your job will cost less.
Artwork, ideally, should be a high-resolution pdf file, saved in CMYK, with crop marks and a minimum of 3mm bleed. Failing that, an .eps or high-resolution jpeg (at at least 50% of full-size).
You can email it to us at info@just-print.ie. We’ll check it over and let you know if it’s ok to proceed with.
For any file over 18MB, use WeTransfer.com, Dropbox or SendSpace. We use these regularly and find them very reliable.
That’s no problem either! We have a team of experienced graphic designers here who can create, adjust or fix artwork as required.
Rates depend entirely on the job specification, but generally we go off a figure of €40 per hour for graphic design services. A small change to existing artwork will, obviously, not cost €40 but will incur a small charge on top of the printing cost. All this will be explained at the quote stage.
Unfortunately not, but we can help you with sizing and will supply key lines for standard sizing items.

Payment Methods

Once you have agreed on quoted price and approved artwork, the print process will begin. We request that all first-time customers pay a deposit and the balance on collection of the job. If no deposit is paid, then 100% of the balance must be paid before the job will be released. Any jobs thereafter will be invoiced on terms of 30 days (unless otherwise agreed differently).

Timeframe Estimates

Again, it all depends on the job size and production requirements. A standard print run will take 3 days after sign-off on final artwork.
We strive to meet every deadline we set. Occasionally machines break down or other factors interfere. It is our possibility to communicate any problems immediately and resolve them asap. If you are out of pocket due to a complacency on our part, then we will compensate you.

Delivery

We will deliver FREE to any Dublin address on orders over the value of €100. (We can arrange a courier or a delivery charge for smaller quantities.)
Yes, we use a nationwide next-day courier. The charge is €10+VAT per standard box.
Of course! Let us know where you want it delivered and we’ll get a shipping quote for you.
Definitely. Call in to use as soon as you’ve been notified it’s finished. Directions to our site are available on this site. Or via Google Places. Come and have a look around, meet the guys and have a coffee on us!
Only if we’re NOT fitting it. If we’re fitting it, our sign crew will bring it to your site (at no charge).

Returns/Grievances

We will, of course, address any grievances should they arise. We remain open and willing to engage and will resolve any problem in a way that suits all parties.
All print and signage items are produced to the highest quality finish. Should something happen that means an item is faulty then we will resolve to repair the matter. If something is wrong we would expect you to inform us as soon as possible.
Let us know if you spot an error! There is a short window between artwork sign-off and actual print production. You might be able to stop the job. If, however, the job has gone ahead and is fully printed, we will always consider a reprint at a discount rate.
You, the customer, have the final say during the proofing process. That is why it is in place. Once a job is approved by you it goes straight to the print queue. ie. the checking stage is over, because you have said so. We ask you to carefully check spelling/typos/spacing and colour settings at the proof stage as these are the most common errors and reasons for reprints. If you want us to proof-read a job, we can do this at a design rate.
Unless specified, print runs are produced digitally.  Colouring will then depend on CMYK composite results and will vary slightly from machine to machine. Should you require a PRECISE colour (ie. for a brand) then you need to specify in your quote request for litho printing. You can always bring in a colour sample of something you want or something you’ve had done before and we can match it as close as we can.
